At John Thiel Gymnasium Thursday night, the Galesburg High School girls basketball team suffered a heart-breaking loss in a Western Big 6 Conference match-up with the Quincy Blue Devils. It was a back-and-forth game with Quincy taking at 10-point lead going into halftime. The Streaks shot 20 of 52 from the field, shooting the ball 18 more times than Quincy did. An incredible effort in the game for the Silver Streaks by Jozalyn Kilgore, who was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. She finished the night with 19 points, with 8 of those points scored in the 4th quarter, and 7 rebounds.
