That question is at the heart of what I call the Rockefeller Waterfall Effect. They are trying to create reliable flows of resources at the right times for the right purposes while preserving the foundation of the family balance sheet. Others create family councils or annual meetings that make thoughtful decision making part of the family’s tradition.
