The protest felt like a celebration at Jantar Mantar, with thousands of people from all walks of life flocking every day. SFI's stall, Kranti Corner, played an important role in keeping Jantar Mantar vibrant. Huge spontaneous waves of crowds began to reach Jantar Mantar, and the protesters called for a peaceful Parliament March on July 20. Jantar Mantar was turned into a Jallianwalla Bagh, with barricades put all around the protest site. By evening, the crowds regrouped and gathered back at Jantar Mantar.
