The Galesburg High School Silver Streaks football team got their first Western Big 6 win under Head Coach Shawn Hickey when they traveled to Augustana College Friday night to take on the Alleman Pioneers. They are now 2 - 2 on the season and 1 - 1 in the Western Big 6 Conference. Galesburg had 474 yards of offense in the game with 209 yards on the ground with 22 carries and five touchdowns. The Silver Streaks had two receivers with over 100 yards receiving tonight. Next up for the Silver Streaks is a road trip to Sterling Friday (9/26) night for their next Western Big 6 match-up against the Golden Warriors.
