The Village of Chase says drought conditions across much of the province spurred a decision to start Level 2 watering restrictions next week. Under Level 2 restrictions, watering with automated and non-automated irrigation systems is limited to two days per week based on house address. “No watering at all, even on your day, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., except hand watering of flowers and vegetable gardens," the post reads. Residents are asked to phone the village at 250-679-3238 to report property owners watering outside of their permitted watering times.
