Salmon Arm pool users are being advised that annual maintenance at SASCU Recreation Centre will start on Aug. 14, a process which closes the pool for about three weeks each year. “This annual maintenance helps keep the facility safe, well-maintained, and ready to welcome swimmers for another season,” the City of Salmon Arm said in a social media post. The pool will close on Friday, Aug. 14, following the public swim at 4 p.m. It will remain closed for maintenance until Monday, Sept. 7, when the next public swim will take place from noon to 4 p.m.For a full aquatic centre schedule, visit the Salmon Arm recreation website.
