Srinagar, Aug 01 : In a swift and professional investigation, Srinagar Police cracked a blind murder case within six hours of the recovery of an unidentified dead body, leading to the arrest of two accused involved in the crime. Considering the gravity of the offence, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted under the supervision of senior officers. After committing the offence, both accused fled Srinagar in an attempt to evade arrest. The accused subsequently disposed of the body in the Babademb Canal in an attempt to conceal the offence and destroy evidence. The prompt detection of this blind murder case within six hours of the recovery of the body reflects the professionalism, dedication, and coordinated efforts of Srinagar Police in ensuring that perpetrators of serious crimes are swiftly brought to justice.
