The Kansas City Chiefs have their eyes set on hosting NFL and college playoff events once the team's new enclosed stadium opens in 2031. Chiefs president Mark Donovan said Friday the franchise has been pursuing hosting bids for both Super Bowls and NCAA Tournament games. "We have been in discussions with the NFL about Super Bowls in '33, '34, '35," Donovan said. The team has played at Arrowhead Stadium, an open-air stadium located on the Missouri side of Kansas City, since 1972. "If you're the NCAA, you're trying to put stability into your future planning," Donovan said.
