Charlotte Hornets4 of 5Rich Storry/Getty ImagesPlenty of people inside and outside of Charlotte are probably disappointed by the LaMelo Ball trade. He led the league's best offensive lineup, but the Hornets determined they could sell high and aim higher. Combined with that outlier on the health front and a history of reckless behavior off the court, Charlotte determined the 24-year-old was more trade chip than cornerstone. If you're a Ball apologist, this offseason leaves you hurting. If you think the Hornets have earned the benefit of the doubt and that Ball's value was never going to get higher, Charlotte crushed it.
