Unemployment has remained pretty stagnant, which is likely unsurprising to anyone who has been trying to get a job for the last few months. The rate currently sits at 4.2% for June, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which doesn't largely differ from the 4.3–4.4% we've seen all of 2026, but I guess we'll take any slightly smaller number that we can get.
