On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, around 1:10 a.m., deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau responded to a vape store in Dunkirk, for the reported burglary in progress. 911 callers reported they were watching the suspects break into the business on camera, with the suspects Hyundai vehicle sitting in the parking lot. The suspects fled at high speeds reaching 120 mph before deputies successfully deployed stop sticks and disabling the vehicle by deflating multiple tires.
