On October 29, 2025, deputies with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office took 22-year-old Kareem Tyree Harris of Lexington Park into custody. He remains held at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center pending a bond review. Deputies and Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded and are investigating the shooting.
