As a certified financial counselor at Northern Communities Credit Union in Duluth, Neumann shows her fellow Gen Zers that milestone goals like buying a house and retiring aren't out of reach. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) licenses financial counselors and offers ongoing development to help people who have experienced financial fraud or other trauma. For Northern Communities Credit Union, such outreach to young people has yielded lower delinquency rates on credit cards and loans and greater overall engagement with its member customers.
