An event celebrating local conservation efforts is set to take place at Ariel-Foundation Park on Thursday, October 9. The free community gathering will be held at the Schnormeier Event Center and will include live music, food, and socializing. The evening will mark several milestones: the 10th anniversary of Ariel-Foundation Park, as well as the 25th anniversaries of Owl Creek Conservancy and Philander Chase Conservancy. Other organizations to be recognized include the Knox County Park District, Brown Family Environmental Center, Kokosing Nature Preserve, and Habitat for Humanity. The event is organized by Ariel-Foundation Park Conservancy.
