Ogemdi Ude performs ‘MAJOR’ at Jacob’s Pillow

Last Friday, I saw Ogemdi Ude perform “MAJOR” on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage at the Pillow. As I understand it, it is not regularly seen in a theatrical setting, even a somewhat more “informal” setting such as the picturesque Leir Stage. The Leir Stage is not a football stadium, but “MAJOR” definitely benefited from the outdoor setting. Perhaps a serendipitous moment like this is only possible at a place like Jacob’s Pillow, and perhaps only on this evening—the one-and-only evening this summer Ogemdi Ude performed “MAJOR” on the outdoor Henry J.
