Netflix has released the final trailer for The Ribbon Hero, a new anime feature inspired by Osamu Tezuka’s manga, “Princess Knight,” that streams worldwide on August 8. In the final trailer, we see Sapphire driven from her homeland, forging bonds with new companions in a distant land, and bravely confronting the looming calamity, Nergal, as the Ribbon Knight. The trailer teases the growth of each character as well as exhilarating action sequences, raising expectations for the film. The final trailer also unveils five new cast members who play Sapphire’s fellow workers at the mining site: Yoshimasa Hosoya voices Rock; Mito Tsukino plays Hecate; Yusuke Tezuka plays Chorogy; Lunlun plays Chick; and Debidebi Debiru plays Tack. Animation is produced by Outline, a studio led by Igarashi known for its character design work and visual style, with overall production by Twin Engine.
