Members of the Zunheboto District Taekwondo Association contingent pose with their medals on July 31. The reception was organised jointly by the Sümi Hoho, Zunheboto Town GB Association, Zunheboto Town Council, Dobashis (DBs), and parents of the players in recognition of the team’s achievement. He also commended the athletes for representing the district with dedication and bringing laurels to Zunheboto by securing an overall sixth position in the state championship. The Zunheboto contingent won a total of 16 medals, comprising 2 Gold, 5 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals. He encouraged the young athletes to continue developing their abilities, strive for excellence, and consider sports as a potential profession and career.
