In a press release, the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) informed that Jonathan Rongsen, Imliwati Lemtur and Vino G. Zhimomi have been named in the North East Zone squad for the prestigious domestic tournament. The Duleep Trophy 2026–27 is scheduled to be held from August 23 to September 10 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The NCA further announced that Mowalong Kichu, physiotherapist of the Nagaland Senior Men’s Team, has been appointed as the Team Physiotherapist for the North East Zone squad. Ahead of the tournament, the association will host the North East Zone pre-tournament preparatory camp in Nagaland from August 8 to 19. The NCA congratulated Jonathan Rongsen, Imliwati Lemtur, Vino G. Zhimomi, Hem Bahadur Chetri and Mowalong Kichu on their selection and appointment, and wished the North East Zone squad success in the upcoming Duleep Trophy campaign.
