It thanked Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for visiting Mon district, reviewing the situation and extending relief and assurances to those affected. Highlighting the impact on education, the ENSF said several educational institutions had reportedly suffered extensive damage, rendering school buildings unsafe and disrupting academic activities. It also called for prompt measures to replace lost academic documents and extend educational support to affected students to ensure their studies are not adversely affected.
