Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The Committee on Urban Local Bodies and Nagaland Village Councils of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat conducted an official site visit to Dimapur town on July 31 to primarily review the implementation of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023. An update received here stated that the discussions centered on the implementation of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023, with emphasis on development of Urban Local Bodies, civic administration, service delivery and challenges at the grassroots level. K Tokugha Sukhalu, interacting with members of the Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation. It appreciated the cooperation extended by the District Administration, the Gaon Buras of Dimapur Town, the Colony Chairmen under Dimapur Town, Councillors of Dimapur Municipal Council, and the VDB Secretaries of Dimapur Sadar.
