A car was left on its side following the collision with a lorry on the A50 eastbound through Normacot. ‌A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "We were called to the A50 eastbound at Normacot following reports of a collision involving a grey Volkswagen and a white HGV. A passenger in the Volkswagen, a boy, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the HGV remained at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries."
