Aug. 1—GLENWOOD — The Glenwood-Lowry American Legion baseball team got off to a great start when it finally played Friday night at Marthaler Field. Ada Post 26 beat Glenwood-Lowry 4-2 in the 39th annual Division II state tournament. But, Ada also took advantage of 11 walks, two hit-by-pitches and two Glenwood-Lowry errors to win. Ada plays Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the state semifinals.
