Nick informed WalesOnline that he attempted to negotiate with the parking enforcement officer who issued the ticket. ‌However, when he approached the officer, he was told that regardless of how minor the infraction was, the fact remained that he had parked outside the lines. "PCNs are placed on vehicles that have breached parking restrictions, either by parking unsafely or overstaying, which can lead to congestion and impact space availability. "In this case though the car was parked outside the permitted area the council has decided to cancel the ticket."
