Fadi Alkhudari, who is a homeless asylum seeker, was recognised by police in Newcastle and searched on the street. Chike Anieto, prosecuting, said police spotted Alkhudari in Newcastle City Centre on June 30 this year. Kash Khan, defending, said Alkhudari was sorry for having the tablets but claimed to have not known they were illegal. He's an asylum seeker, having been here for two years.
