As work continues on the watermain relining project affecting Duncan Avenue, Taylor Avenue and Woods Street, Town of Kirkland Lake is issuing this follow-up notice to remind residents of important water use and access requirements associated with the Watermain Relining Project on Duncan Avenue, Taylor Avenue and Woods Street. Town officials say “residents may notice temporary water discolouration following construction, flushing, or service connection activities. Before doing laundry, residents are encouraged to check that the water is running clear to help avoid possible staining of fabrics.” If access to your home is required, project representatives or the contractor will contact you directly to coordinate access. Residents are asked not to tamper with temporary water lines and to continue following all posted signage and construction directions within the work area.”
