The library and wrestling promotion have announced they will partner on August 29 to make the library’s summer market and community fair an even bigger and better event. The library’s market and fair will take place from 10am-2pm at the library and then the wrestling action will go down in the Northern College gym later that evening. Jordan Ayres, Teck Centennial Library executive assistant to the CEO and director of Strategic Initiatives says “Shake the Lake brings the community together for an action-packed night of professional wrestling while raising funds for Community Living Kirkland Lake. This year, they’re tagging in with the library to help make our Community Fair one for the record books. Join us at the Summer Market & Community Fair at the library during the day, then cheer on Shake the Lake/Rock Solid Wrestling in the evening as they continue making a difference for Community Living Kirkland Lake.”
