Samson Qu becomes first individual honoree since 2020This was a banner year for Red Devil swimming. The CSCAA Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams recognize college athletics teams with spring 2026 GPAs of 3.0 or higher. To qualify for the CSCAA Scholar All-American second team, Qu needed to earn at least a 3.5 GPA and at least one NCAA "B" cut throughout the season. Qu earned NCAA B-cut distinctions four times and broke school records in the 100 IM, and as part of the relay teams for the 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley. Qu recorded other podium finishes in the 200 medley relay (third place), 400 medley relay (fourth place), 200 free relay (fourth place), 400 free relay (fourth place), 50 free (fifth place) and 100 fly (eighth place).
