A suspect in a Burien residential burglary was arrested Tuesday, July 28 after a SeaTac deputy spotted the suspect vehicle, leading to a pursuit that ended in a crash and K-9 apprehension, according to the Burien Police Department. Deputies responded at about 4:30 a.m. to a report of a residential burglary, police said. At about 6 p.m., a SeaTac deputy spotted the suspect vehicle traveling in the area and initiated a traffic stop, police said. The pursuit ended when the suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed, according to police. A pursuing deputy who was a K-9 handler deployed a police dog after a brief foot pursuit, and the suspect was apprehended, police said.
