The Chiefs continued their "ramp up" toward padded practices, which will begin next week. The Chiefs took the field for one hour and twenty-five minutes during Wednesday's opening practice before competing for an additional 15 minutes on Thursday. Friday's practice was then one hour and 55 minutes. Defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott (knee) remains on the "Physically Unable to Perform" list (PUP), and did not participate in Friday's practice. Additionally, defensive end Ashton Gillotte left practice early due to a strained hamstring, although Coach Reid indicated following practice that he didn't think the injury was serious.
