Anna Monceaux, 79, of Palmyra, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 8, 1947, in Groves, Texas, Anna graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School before earning her associate’s degree from Victor Valley Community College in California. After residing in Lafayette, Louisiana, for several years, Anna returned to Virginia in 2009 with her mother, Mildred, to be closer to her sons, Christopher and Jonathan, and their growing families. She was happiest, however, when surrounded by family, whether she was cooking a meal, playing Rummikub, or simply spending time together. Anna is survived by her sons, Christopher Monceaux and his wife, Tamara, and Jonathan Monceaux and his wife, Sarah; her treasured grandchildren, Vivian, Evelyn, and Riley; and the father of her children, Murphy Monceaux.
