There is so far nothing seen in this war that suggests to me that the United States has a plan on how to make this new war more successful than the previous one.
Has something changed that would lead the United States to believe that there would be a more favorable outcome from a resumption of the war?
They're going to try to drag this out to make it as painful economically and politically as possible for Trump.
It certainly does work, and that his opposition to war is not actually because he's opposed to war.
Because who's making the rules in the rules-based order is the United States and its allies, with the expectation that everyone else has to follow them.
