They’re asking Apple to avoid using memory chips from two Chinese suppliers, ChangXin Memory Technologies and Yangtze Memory Technologies, in any Apple product. Apple’s push into Chinese suppliers has turned into a political issue. The company already raised prices on Macs and iPads earlier in 2026, citing the same memory shortage.
