SANewsThe PSL’s longest serving coach – Gavin Hunt – has disclosed His earnings upon breaking into the PSL, which is days away from celebrating 30 years on August 9.
Hunt’s playing career ended in 1994 at Hellenic and he immediately became a coach in the first division with Seven Stars.
"I was a PSL coach earning R5 000 a month then it went up to R25 000 which was unbelievable.
"When I came in (into the PSL) I was on R5 000 and then it all went up to like R25 000 from there afterwards.
"The game was a man’s game back then, but it has changed and gotten softer," says Hunt.
