In an exclusive interview with NBC News, which aired Wednesday evening, the pope answered a direct question regarding his plans. “Nothing is set in stone yet, but I certainly hope to be there soon,” the pontiff told NBC News. The pope also gave a Spanish-language interview to Telemundo, which opened with an invitation for the pope to comment directly on U.S. immigration policy. “To have hope,” the pope replied.
