The annual Thursday Night Groove Concert Series is coming back to Rock Island this August. The concert series will be held on the Ellis Kell Stage at Schwiebert Riverfront Park (1st Avenue and 18th Street in Rock Island). Thursday Night Groove begins at 6 p.m., with food and beer available for sale. Parking is available in the lot at 17th Street and 1st Avenue (next to the playground) after 6 p.m., or across 1st Avenue and throughout downtown Rock Island. The Thursday Night Groove concert series is presented by Rock Island Happy Joe’s, with additional sponsorship from Friendship Manor, Gas & Electric Credit Union, The Arc of the Quad Cities, Alternating Currents, Rock Island Downtown Alliance and Bent River Brewing Company.
