Former Quartesian executives say their new clinical biometrics contract services firm, Acrosian, was developed specifically for the “AI era.”
New Jersey-headquartered Acrosian launched last week with the stated aim of using AI to augment clinical data management, biostatistics, programming, and medical writing services for pharma, biotech, and medical device developers.
In a press statement, the CRO said, “Rather than adapting legacy infrastructure to artificial intelligence, the founders chose to build again from the ground up.”
Despite the focus on AI, Acrosian stressed the importance of oversight, explaining that every client deliverable will remain under qualified human responsibility.
AI in trial biometricsDespite various claims about its potential, AI use in the CRO sector remains limited.
