Scanlon: Reelect Me To Finish Health “Option” Job

If voters this November return Sean Scanlon to the state comptroller’s office, 100,000 to 200,000 more people may get affordable health care.
“Public option” plans involve both government and private insurers.
(Vermont passed its own single-payer plan but couldn’t make it work.)
But passage of those single-payer plans aren’t on the near-term horizon, Scanlon noted.
