The state house was the most impressive we’d come across as far as walk-around exterior went. I was excited about checking out the little house in Antelope Park where Darrel, who was the city’s forester, lived with Nancy. We visited the state house that evening, since we had time and wanted to get on the road for Portland, Oegon, the next morning. Onc thing I realized with all our state house visits is the attention to native plantings. Give North Dakota credit for having a state house that’s built to do business, not to be fancy.
