The ACB has instructed the Director General, Fire and Emergency Services, to ensure that the selected candidates, presently serving in different districts, appear for the verification process. As per the plan, 130 candidates from Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal will report at DPL Srinagar, while 124 candidates from Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara will appear at DPL Baramulla. In the Jammu division, 82 candidates from Jammu, Kathua and Samba will report at DPL Jammu. The ACB has also directed Assistant Directors of the Fire and Emergency Services Department to facilitate the attendance of candidates from their respective jurisdictions. The ACB had earlier said it was probing allegations of irregularities in the recruitment process, and the latest height measurement exercise forms a key part of that investigation.
