Mrs. Betty Jean Herrin, 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at St. Joseph’s /Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, after an extended illness. Mrs. Betty was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a Seamstress for Douglas-Harper in Baxley, and a teacher. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at the Memorial Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Jonathan Mann officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were the members of Memorial Freewill Baptist Church and all in attendance. The staff of Nobles Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Jean Herrin.
