On Friday, the Appling County High School Pirates Football team hosted the Miller County Pirates. Finally, the Appling County High School 2025 Girls State Tennis Champion members were presented with their championship rings. This resulted in a safety on Miller County, making the score 31-3 with 11:52 left in the second quarter. The safety would force Miller County to also kick back to Appling, where they received the ball at Miller’s 38-yard line. During halftime, the Appling County Pirate Brigade did an amazing job on their half time performance.
