Thirteen field lacrosse players from the North Stars program have been asked to compete at the Summer Games, hosted at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Article contentTwo coaches from the Owen Sound club are also making the trip to the provincial championships at Ansley Alumni Field.
The top under-17 field lacrosse players from across Ontario earned their spots through tryouts held in May and were subsequently drafted to one of six teams competing at the Games.
Local coaches Reese Wilkins and Taryn Weppler are helping with Team Green.
