Tony Evers announced Friday that he has granted pardons to 210 people, bringing the total number issued during his time in office to 2,237. "A pardon is an official act of forgiveness that signals an individual has paid their debt to society, worked to make amends, and turned their lives around," Evers said. Among those pardoned was Robert Fenske, who was convicted of burglaries committed as a teenager nearly six decades ago. Evers also pardoned Heather Raymond, who was convicted of possessing a controlled substance with intent to manufacture more than three decades ago. Another recipient, Martin Calderon, was convicted after driving under the influence and hitting a parked vehicle more than two decades ago.
