EAST LONDON - Family, friends and the rugby community are preparing to bid farewell to rising rugby star Luqobo Makwedini. The 20-year-old former South African Under-18 and SA Schools prop died in France earlier this month. Remembered for his passion on the field and his vibrant personality off it, Makwedini's death has shocked many. The former U-18 tighthead prop had just embarked on a 3-year contract with the Beziers in France. The family says he will be buried on Saturday in his hometown.
