Macronix’s ArmorFlash MX78 secure NOR flash memory targets automotive cybersecurity applications.
It was developed using the ISO/SAE 21434 development process and thus is compliant with the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional-safety standard.
The MX78 is significant in this regard because it addresses those challenges simultaneously; it's a critical element in automotive safety."
The MX78 supports SPI, QSPI, and OctaBus interfaces.
The chips are built using a single bit per cell, floating-gate technology, allowing them to handle temperatures up to 125°C.
