BRFD working fire on Robertson AvenueBATON ROUGE — The Baton Rouge Fire Department is currently working a fire on Robertson Avenue near Hollywood Street. When they arrived, flames were visible from a second-floor window. BRFD said that the damage was limited to the second-floor room where the fire originated. Investigators determined the fire resulted from an overloaded power strip, with multiple power strips connected to a single electrical receptacle. No injuries resulted from the fire.
