https://clermontsheriff.org/On April 23, Clermont County Sheriff Chris Stratton received a request from Adams County Sheriff Ken Dick, through the Buckeye State Sheriffs' Association, to conduct an independent investigation into allegations that four Adams County corrections officers failed to comply with the rules and regulations governing the operation of the Adams County Jail. Due to the Adams County Prosecutor's Office recusing itself from the matter, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office was appointed to assist with both the investigation and prosecution. Emergency Medical Services responded to the jail and transported the inmate to Adams County Regional Medical Center. Upon completion of the investigation, and in consultation with the Warren County Prosecutor's Office, criminal charges were filed on July 28 through the Adams County Municipal Court.
