A Level 3 sex offender from Ontario County will spend the next 27 years behind bars after pleading guilty to multiple violent felonies, including the rape of a 14-year-old girl. Daniel Sevigny, 43, was sentenced Wednesday after admitting to three separate offenses: first-degree rape, attempted rape, and second-degree assault, the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office confirmed. The rape conviction stems from a case in which Sevigny sexually assaulted a minor. Weeks later, on May 3, he attacked another inmate in the Ontario County Jail. That assault became the third felony conviction included in his sentencing.
