A Queensland psychologist has been banned from practice for at least 10 years after it was found he repeatedly engaged in sexual misconduct, including BDSM, with patients. The tribunal was told the man, who cannot be identified in order to protect the identities of his patients, began a sexual relationship with Patient B in July 2020. When the relationship ended, Patient B was left "feeling loss, abandonment, disappointment" and required further psychological help to address their trauma.
