Two men questioned early in the investigation of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance are preparing to sue the Arizona sheriff leading the case for $3.25 million. The legal action comes as the search for Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie’s mother reaches the six-month mark with no suspects identified. Guthrie was last seen at her Tucson home on February 1, with authorities believing she was kidnapped. Carlos Palazuelos and Daniel Maddox filed a notice of claim against Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and one of his detectives this week. Savannah Guthrie called her mother’s disappearance “a nightmare that will not end” and is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery.
